Co-funded by the Scottish Government and Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT), the £300,000 campaign runs over two phases until May 31, 2023 and is being delivered across digital/social channels, radio, TV, out-of-home advertising, print and digital press.
DCPC training is generally seen by CPT members to be positive and has been embraced widely as part of operators’ approach to delivery of continuing professional development. However, the current regime also presents certain challenges and we welcomed and actively contributed to the Government review of Driver CPC.
The campaign features 7 stories that have been converted into posters which you can see at Hammersmith Bus Station until May 5th (right above Broadway shopping centre).
Despite rising inflationary costs for operators, the 2022 National Bus Fare survey once again confirmed that the bus remains good value for money for passengers, with the average price of a single ticket costing £2.47.
