Go Ahead London - apprenticeships leading the way

Apprenticeships are integral for employee retention, upskilling the work force and improving colleague diversity. Go-Ahead London opened its award winning, state-of-the-art training academy for apprentices in Camberwell to help recruit and train the next generation of London bus drivers.

Diversity is at its heart too, with apprentices ranging from 18 to 65, and two thirds come from a BAME background and one in five are women. Meaning the company is on its way to having a workforce that truly reflects the communities it serves.
