Welcoming the accolade Alison Edwards said, "My sincere thanks to TAF and its partners for this recognition. Little did I know when I joined Confederation of Passenger Transport back in 2019 that my journey here would take me! To have helped the sector navigate its route through that and out the other side of the pandemic, and to have been part of the CPT team raising the sector’s profile and driving forward its agenda over recent years has been a real honour."

Championing a better gender balance in our sector is a cause close to the hearts of CPT and Women in Bus and Coach. So happy International Women’s Day to all the other women out there working hard to make sure that buses and coaches continue to deliver vital services to local communities, driving greener economic growth and supporting social inclusion.
