Lady Heyes Holiday Park & Attraction Village in Frodsham, Cheshire, has officially celebrated its recognition by Coach UK, part of CPT, as a Coach Friendly destination, marking an exciting milestone in the continued development of the popular 15-acre attraction.

Frodsham attraction looks to welcome more coach groups, support local businesses and showcase the best of Cheshire.

The achievement was celebrated at a special presentation ceremony on Tuesday 20th October 2026, attended by representatives from CPT, local businesses, community representatives and invited guests.

Located in the heart of Cheshire, Lady Heyes offers a varied visitor experience, bringing together holiday accommodation and glamping, its popular independent Village Shops, Frodsham Padel Club and a range of leisure and hospitality facilities. With free coach parking available, the attraction is keen to encourage more organised group visits and establish itself as a destination for coach tours exploring the area.

Lady Heyes hopes that attracting more coach visitors will also help support the wider local economy, bringing additional footfall to independent businesses and hospitality facilities while raising the profile of Frodsham and the surrounding Cheshire countryside.

Mitchel Faulkner, Director and Owner of Lady Heyes, said:

“We’re extremely pleased that Lady Heyes has now been officially recognised as a CPT Coach Friendly destination, which is something we’re incredibly proud of.

"This recognition gives us a fantastic opportunity to work with more coach operators, welcome visitors from further afield and create even more opportunities for the independent businesses based here at Lady Heyes.

"With Frodsham on our doorstep, we also hope this will have a positive impact on the wider area, encouraging visitors to discover more of the town and what Cheshire has to offer.”

Andrew McGuinness, CPT Regional Manager (North of England), said:

”Coach UK, part of CPT, is delighted to accredit Lady Heyes Park as a Coach Friendly destination. The team offers a warm welcome, a great café and a range of quirky, independent shops, making it an appealing stop for coach visitors. Located a short distance from the M56, the park provides a convenient option for meal and refreshment breaks or as part of a wider local itinerary.

“Lady Heyes joins a network of more than 40 Coach Friendly destinations across the UK, reflecting the growing recognition of the economic benefits that can be unlocked when local destinations make themselves more accessible to coach travel.”

Lady Heyes extended its thanks to everyone who attended the presentation ceremony, with special appreciation to Andrew and Alistair from CPT; representatives of Alfa Coach Holidays; Judith Critchley of Frodsham Town Council; Councillor Mike Garvey; Will Cook of Frodsham Market; Fiona and Cherry of Frodsham News; local author Mick Flaherty; Kate and Lee of Pod Cheshire; and Abbie and Nat of The Candy Club.

Their attendance highlighted the value of collaboration between tourism organisations, local businesses and community representatives in promoting Frodsham as a destination for visitors.
