CPT reacts to the announcement that face coverings will be mandatory on public transport
From CPT's chief executive, Graham Vidler: "Buses are already safe to use as operators have introduced enhanced cleaning regimes alongside other measures including restricting capacity, but making face coverings mandatory will give more passengers the confidence to travel.
CPT calls new bus funding a first step towards a more comprehensive network
Reacting to the announcement that £254m would be made available to help local authorities ramp up bus services. CTP Chief Executive Graham Vidler said: ”We're pleased the Government has recognised the important role the bus network is playing in helping people return to work safely and we look forward to receiving further details of the proposed funding.
New Accounting and Business Services scheme for CPT members
CPT has today (20 February) launched a new Accounting and Business Services scheme for members. Delivered by CPT’s new Commercial Partner, RSM UK, the scheme offers members a full range of accountancy and business services tailored for the bus and coach industry through a network of 35 offices across the UK.
