Stagecoach Strathtay bus driver Andrew Robertson has been praised for his quick-thinking after a teenage passenger from Forfar suffered a seizure.

When Robertson was alerted to a female passenger having a seizure, he pulled his 20D bus over and immediately assisted. Once the teenager came around, she was dazed, confused and suffered a sore shoulder due to the fit.

He called 999 to assist and while they assisted, Robertson shielded the teenager as best he could from other passengers. Her parents then arrived and took over the call to the team, they then took her off the bus and waited for the ambulance.

All remaining passengers were then dropped off to their destinations.

Iain Stewart, Operations Manager for Stagecoach Strathtay, said, "We're truly proud of Andrew's quick-thinking and professionalism, a massive well done to him. The safety of our customers and staff is of the highest importance to us, and we're proud to serve our local communities."
