CPT is seeking an experienced HR Consultant with a track record of supporting similar organisations.

CPT is a non-profit trade association, representing the UK’s bus and coach industry at a local and national level.

CPT currently has 21 members of staff, with a head office in London and a second office in Scotland.

Current HR Consultancy Arrangement

Edge HRM Ltd currently provides CPT with an external HR support and advice facility, ensuring that HR-related laws, rules, policies and systems remain up to date and providing ad-hoc support on individual issues. 

The current agreement works on a monthly two-hour retainer basis, with additional hours charged at an hourly rate.

Future Requirements

CPT requires a HR Consultant with a track record of supporting similar organisations, to ensure ongoing compliance and to provide ad-hoc advice and support when required.

Initially, this will include updating the internal HR manual and creating guidance documents to allow CPT to manage day-to-day issues in-house.

Following this, to provide support when required and to advise CPT of any significant changes to employment law which may impact upon the organisation’s HR policies, procedures or practices.
