The new Transport Secretary has been announced as Mark Harper replacing Anne-Marie Trevelyan.
Harper has previously held roles as Minister for Disabled People and is a former Immigration Minister. He has been an MP for the Forest of Dean since 2005.
On his appointment, Harper said: “Transport affects us all and I can’t wait to tackle the challenges we face so we can deliver for communities across our United Kingdom.”
We welcome Harper into the role and look forward to working with him to help coaches and buses play their full part in the development of the nation’s wealth and health.
