Next Thursday (10 December) MPs will debate the future of the coach industry. This is an excellent chance for MPs to quiz the Government directly both on why they have failed to provide support to date but also more importantly on what it needs to do now to help secure the future of the industry.

CPT will be contacting MPs to encourage them to take part in the debate but we know that MPs respond best to constituents and local business owners contacting them about the plight of the coach sector. Therefore CPT is asking you do to two things in advance of the debate:

  • Contact your local MP and ask them to take part in the debate. If you are not sure who your MP is you can find out my entering your postcode here
  • Send them CPT’s briefing on the future of the coach industry to help them prepare for the debate. You can download the briefing document here (download Newsletter Attachment 39)

The sooner you contact your MP the greater chance there is of them being able to take part.

If you have any questions please contact CPT’s Head of External Relations Tom Bartošák-Harlow tom.bartosak-harlow@cpt-uk.org
