CPT has reacted to the announcement made during a CPT Live event that coach parking in Blackpool will be free until January 2022, up to a maximum of 72 hours.
"Blackpool is known as the capital of UK coach trips and holidays with coaches bringing 120,000 coach visitors per year, contributing £30 million to the local economy and supporting jobs across the town.
"The decision announced today to offer free coach parking for up to 72 hours for the remainder of the 2021 season will help encourage coaches to return after a challenging year and hopefully the coach parks of Blackpool are full once again soon."
