Operational & Technical Assistance

Our Operations Team deals with thousands of queries from members each year. These cover every aspect of coach and bus operations including drivers’ hours and record keeping, European and International travel and engineering and technical matters

As new issues develop the Operations Team update our online Compliance Manual up in order to ensure that all the very latest guidance and regulations surrounding coach and bus operations is readily available to members.

In addition, the team also provides the following services to members:

  • Operational health checks;
  • Operational and Policy updates to CPT regional and national committee meetings;
  • 24/7 emergency operations helpline;
  • Representation at meetings with key industry bodies and agencies including DVLA and DVSA, the Department for Transport, Highways England and local authorities.
