CPT responds to the DfT’s announcement of £4.65 million to help small coach and bus operators introduce live audio-visual updates on their services

Graham Vidler, CEO at Confederation of Passenger Transport said today,

“We welcome this announcement. The industry is working hard to deliver better Accessible Information for its passengers. Operators of all sizes are working to achieve compliance by the relevant deadline. This funding will help smaller operators with the cost of that compliance. We remain concerned about the time available for those with vehicles that must achieve compliance by October this year as there may be bottlenecks due to capacity issues around installation.”
