CPT's response to 2023 DCPC Consultation

DCPC training is generally seen by CPT members to be positive and has been embraced widely as part of operators’ approach to delivery of continuing professional development.  However, the current regime also presents certain challenges and we welcomed and actively contributed to the Government review of Driver CPC.

National survey shines light on low cost and improved convenience of buses

Despite rising inflationary costs for operators, the 2022 National Bus Fare survey once again confirmed that the bus remains good value for money for passengers, with the average price of a single ticket costing £2.47.
