CPT News Release: CPT's Coach Friendly Towns Awards
The first ever Coach Friendly Town Awards will be awarded at this year’s British Travel Trade Fair (BTTF).
The top four British towns, as voted by CPT members in a recent survey, will be presented with the awards by Visit Britain on the Centre Stage at 13.30 on 3rd March.
The Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) is the national trade association representing bus, coach and light rail operators.
The British Travel Trade Fair 2004 takes place in Hall 12 of the NEC, Birminghamon 3 - 4 March.
The British Tourist Authority and the English Tourism Council merged with effect from 1st April 2003. The result is a new organisation called VisitBritain and has a remit to promote Britain to an international audience and promote England domestically.
