10-08-2010 2010 Parking Charges Consultation CPT has learnt that a parking charges consultation has recently been issued jointly by London Councils and Transport for London (TfL) and it is important as stakeholders that we have the right of response. Managing London’s road network is undertaken by London’s 33 local authorities and TfL. This management takes many forms and includes the requirement to enforce penalties to allow the free and expeditious movement of traffic throughout the Capital. TfL and the boroughs are collectively responsible for setting the level of such penalties, which are used to “ensure compliance for the benefit of London as a whole”. |

09-08-2010 Do you have any coaches booked for the Pope's visit to London in September? The Pope is visiting London on 18th September 2010 and will be conducting a prayer vigil / mass in Hyde Park. We have been discussing the visit with the various authorities and it now appears that the planning assumption (and public advice from the Church) is that attendees should travel to the event on public transport.
