Notice period and process for bus service registrations in England has changed
The Public Service Vehicles (Registration of Local Services) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 came into force on Tuesday 24 April. The Government announced its intention to make the change when discussing secondary legislation under the Bus Services Act, and the SI was laid before Parliament during the Easter recess but these Regulations were made and introduced without any communication to the industry or local authorities. At the time of writing, the OTC website has no mention of the new requirements.

CPT News Release: CPT secures reduction in Heathrow Airport West Ramp Coach Park charges

Notice period and process for bus service registrations in England has changed
The Public Service Vehicles (Registration of Local Services) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 came into force on Tuesday 24 April. The Government announced its intention to make the change when discussing secondary legislation under the Bus Services Act, and the SI was laid before Parliament during the Easter recess but these Regulations were made and introduced without any communication to the industry or local authorities. At the time of writing, the OTC website has no mention of the new requirements.

CPT News Release: CPT secures reduction in Heathrow Airport West Ramp Coach Park charges
The Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT), working with Heathrow Airport and the London Tourist Coach Operators Association (LTCOA), has secured agreement that the charges for coach operators using the West Ramp Coach Park will be reduced to £21.56 per vehicle for 2015 and 2016. Additional funding announced to bring 55 low carbon buses into service
