Coach Holiday Conference

The annual two-day Coach Holiday Conference, a joint initiative of CPT and the Coach Tourism Council, takes place in Cardiff in a little over six weeks time.
This established event brings together coach operators and suppliers to the industry to discuss, debate and learn about current issues impacting on the UK’s travel and tourism industries. It also provides delegates with excellent business and networking opportunities.
This year’s conference, which is being opened by Councillor Brian Griffiths, The Rt Hon Lord Mayor of Cardiff, focuses on domestic tourism and how to build on the upsurge in people taking holidays at home. Is it a short term gain or can those involved in ‘Tourism UK’ sustain this growth?
Two of the speakers, Penelope, Viscountess Cobham, Chairman of VisitEngland and Jonathan Jones, Director of Tourism & Marketing for VisitWales, will reveal how they are driving through tourism initiatives to ensure the two countries continue to increase their visitor numbers.
